About us
Brent TV is a FREE online television channel dedicated to developing, publishing and promoting positive community focused programmes that inform, educate and promote cohesion amongst the more than 240,000 residents, 1,500 not for profit organisations and 45,000 businesses in the London Borough of Brent.
As a Social Enterprise, our objective is to use media as a platform to support young people aged between 16 - 24 that are not in education, employment or training (NEET), ex-offenders, people with learning disabilities & difficulties and those that are long term unemployed into education, employment (contract or permanent), or self employment by providing work experience, traineeship, apprenticeship opportunities.
As a community focused channel, our content is 100% local and focuses on community news, initiatives and events, health and wellbeing, business, sports, politics, culture and lifestyle, education and entertainment.
We also hope to use media to reduce youth offending and re-offending and social isolation amongst senior residents in the borough.
